Alcohol Policy Our sport supports the responsible consumption of alcohol and takes seriously any inappropriate behaviour that results from excessive drinking. AIcohol-free social events will be provided for young people and families.
Anti-Doping In this Anti-Doping Policy, references to Sporting Administration Body should be read as references to Australian Baseball Federation Inc (ABF). ABF's international federation is the International Baseball Federation (IBAF).
Child Safeguarding The child safeguarding component of Fair Safe Sport is delivered by the WA Sports Federation through it’s Safe Clubs 4 Kids (SC4K) initiative, in partnership with the Department of Sport and Recreation, the Working with Children Screening Unit, the WA Police – Child Abuse Squad and Surf Life Saving WA.
Competitions Baseball WA (BWA) is committed to being a well-managed and top performing organisation. This policy is intended to provide guidance to Employees, Directors and stakeholders regarding the structure of local metro and regional competitions.

Extreme Heat Policy Heat stress and injury can lead to impaired player performance, physical distress (e.g. dizziness, headache, collapse and nausea). In its extreme form it can be life threatening.

Little League Bat Rules The bat must be a baseball bat which meets the USA Baseball Bat standard (USABat) as adopted by Little League. It shall be a smooth, rounded stick, and made of wood or of material and colour tested and proved acceptable to the USA Baseball Bat standard (USABat).
Member Protection Baseball Australia is committed to providing a safe environment for children, an environment which is free from harassment and abuse for all participants. Baseball Australia fosters and promotes respectful and positive behaviour and values, and it expects that is participants, officials, and spectators will take up this view.
Reported Player and Tribunal Procedures Any umpire in control of any Baseball WA game may report any person who engages in conduct detrimental to the best interests of the game of baseball.
Social Media (Members) Baseball WA acknowledges the emergence of new technology and communication media and wishes to encourage the use of social media for the benefit of the sport and its participants. Baseball WA also recognises that its members need some level of protection from possible threats of vilification and/or cyber bullying through such social media channels.
Working with Children BWA acknowledges the role of the SportsWest, Australian Baseball Federation (BA) and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSCI) in the development of its Working with Children procedures.
