Baseball WA is excited to announce the second annual Machine Pitch MP70 Summer Championship is now taking registrations.
From January 19 to 22, 2020, Baseball Park, Thornlie will play host to players aged 9 through 13 from all over Western Australia (age as at 31 August 2021).
Individuals register for the event and will be placed into teams at the end of the first day and then play three days of games with expert coaching. Each day will start at 9.00am and finish at 2.00pm.
MP70 is machine pitch played on a 70 foot diamond size (same size as Intermediate League) and ideal for regional players, tee-ballers wanting to give baseball a go and metro players who would benefit from more game play and the enjoyment of a tournament-style event.
All players shall receive a tournament playing shirt and cap as part of their registration, all insurance cover and coaching staff.
Registrations close 13 December 2020 at which time we will decide how many squads of 12 we will have - after that we will only take as many more entries as is needed to fill them to 12 players per squad. If the portal has closed it means all places are filled.
All players of League Age 9 through 13 are eligible except those players who played LL or IL charter last season (Development Shield players are ok).
Visit the registration portal now to register - payment by credit card as part of the registration is required.
