Wanneroo Giants 4-3 Swan Districts
The Wanneroo Giants made it a perfect five wins from as many games as they continued their blistering start to the season, downing Swan Districts 4-3.

Solid play on both sides of the ball saw the Giants edge Swans in the season’s first Friday night game at the Perth Harley-Davidson Ballpark.
Braves 6-1 Gosnells Hawks
W: Dan Schmidt (1-0), L: Quolas (0-1)

Sam Kennelly homered and drove in two runs as the Braves took care of the Gosnells Hawks 6-1 on Sunday.

The Braves scored a pair of runs in the first, third and fifth inning to set up victory.

On the mound, southpaw Dan Schmidt earned the win in relief of opener Cameron Lamb – striking out nine batters across five frames.

Game 1: Victoria Park/Belmont Reds 4-1 Carine Cats
W: Dylan Brammer (2-0), L: Devon Ramirez (0-2)

Game 2: Victoria Park/Belmont Reds 2-10 Carine Cats
W: Peter Reyes (1-1), L: Matthew Martin (1-2)

In the weekend’s stand-alone double-header, the Victoria Park/Belmont Reds and Carine Cats shared the spoils, winning one game each.

The Reds got their day off to the ideal start as pitcher Dylan Brammer pitched a complete game gem – punching out eight batters on 88 pitches as he outduled Devon Ramirez to hand his team a 4-1 win.

The Cats bounced back in game two, however, as catcher Josh McAdams homered and drove in five runs on a pair of base hits to lead Carine to a convincing 10-2 victory.

South Perth Cubs 12-1 Perth
W: Will Sherriff (1-0), L: Matteo Pizziconi (0-2)

The South Perth Cubs offence had a day as they recorded 18 team hits in a 12-1 route of rivals Perth on Sunday.

Jake Bowey cleared the fence, doubled and drove in two runs on four hits, while designated hitter Brett Walters picked up three RBIs in what was a convincing win for the Cubs.

Will Sherriff pitched four scoreless innings of relief to nab the win, while Matteo Pizziconi was tagged with the loss after surrounding eight runs across three frames.

Morley Eagles 8-2 Rockingham Rams
W: Lachie Waite (2-1), Brock Molloy (0-1)

The Morley Eagles bounced back from last weekend’s double-header loss to Vic Park by recording a strong 8-2 win over the Rockingham Rams.

The Eagles piled on five runs over the first two innings to set up the victory with Alex Hall and Josh Lynch each driving in a pair.

On the mound, Lachie Waite tossed seven shutout innings to claim his second win of the season, with Brock Molloy taking the loss.

Wembley Magpies 4-3 Swan Districts
W: Shand (1-0), L: Riley Moore (1-1) S: Riley Spring (1)

The Wembley Magpies held off a fast finishing Swan Districts to claim a tense 4-3 win to round out the Week 4 fixtures.

Down 4-0, Swans rallied for three runs in the eighth inning before Riley Spring collected the save to hand the Magpies an invaluable win.

Catcher Michael Varga led the way for Wembley, going 3-4 with a pair of RBIs as the home side secured their second win of the season.
