Congratulations to Morley Eagles on winning the State League 1 Grand Final over Wanneroo Giants. Brendan Sing was awarded the Max Lenegan Medal as MVP of Grand Final Series.

Wanneroo Giants 6 v Morley Eagles 10 - Game 1
Even though Wanneroo collected 11 hits to Morley's nine, they still fell 10-6 on Wednesday.
Wanneroo took an early lead in the second inning when Byron Armstrong doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs. Daniel Bourke had an RBI too.
The Eagles got ahead with four runs in the third inning as Matt Dixon drew a walk, scoring one run and Adrian Blount doubled on a 1-1 count to score another two. Aaron Bonomi singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one more.
Brendan Sing got the win for Morley, allowing 11 hits and six runs over nine innings, striking out 11.
Tom Bailey took the loss for Wanneroo, allowing four hits and six runs over three innings, striking out four.
Armstrong went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Wanneroo while Dawson Summers had two hits.
Bonomi, Jesse Williams, Blount, and Ulrich Bojarski all collected multiple hits for Morley.
Morley Eagles 5 v Wanneroo Giants 1 - Game 2
Morley brought home the flag with a 5-1 victory over Wanneroo on Friday night.
Morley tallied three runs in the eighth inning on singles by Alex Hall and Travis Murphy.
Lachy Southee was the winning pitcher for Morley, surrendering just one run on four hits over nine innings, striking out nine.
Jay Bullingham took the loss for Wanneroo. The righty surrendered two runs on three hits over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.
Morley tallied one home run on the day. Hall had a long ball in the sixth inning.
Hall went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Morley in hits. The Eagles didn't commit a single error in the field as Hall had the most chances with 10.
Madison Beaird led Wanneroo with two hits in four at bats.
