Day 2 of the 2021 Think Again Little League Championships is complete with big games in Division 1 and Division 2 at Wanneroo Giants Baseball Club.

Little League Division 1 Eastern Phantoms 11 - Coastal Bay Sharks 1 Eastern Phantoms put up seven runs in the third on its way to an 11-1 victory over Coastal Bay Sharks on Friday. Sebastian C, Klay D, Austin T, and Xavier L powered the big inning with RBIs. Zai G was on the pitcher's mound for Eastern Phantoms. The lefthander lasted two innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out six and walking zero. Koby T led things off on the hill for Coastal Bay Sharks. Koby allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out four and walking zero. Taj J and Byron M entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and one-third of an inning respectively. Arata S went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead the Phantoms in hits. Wanneroo Giants 16 - Central Firebirds 11 Both offenses were strong in Wanneroo's 16-11 victory over Central Firebirds. The Firebirds fired up the offense in the first inning. Oliver H was hit by a pitch, driving in a run. Wanneroo Giants pulled away for good with 14 runs in the second inning. Sebastian B drew a walk, scoring one run, Kobie E singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, and Hyte B singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. The runs didn't stop there as Cooper B singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run, Dylan B drew a walk, scoring one run, Riley L tripled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Toby K drew a walk, scoring one run, Hyte doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, and Cooper singled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs. Hyte was on the pitcher's mound for Wanneroo. The fireballer went one-third of an inning, allowing five runs on two hits and striking out one. Tate V was on the hill for Central. Tate lasted one and one-third innings, allowing two hits and five runs while striking out one. Kaylan P, Preston B, and Evyn A each contributed in relief for Central Firebirds. Wanneroo Giants tallied nine hits in the game. Hyte, Riley, and Cooper each managed multiple hits as Hyte led the way with three hits in four at bats. The Giants were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Cooper made the most plays with six. The Firebirds racked up eight hits. Joel V and Zen B all managed multiple hits. Joel went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the team in hits. Southern Hills Warriors 4 - Eastern Phantoms 9 Southern Hills Warriors watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 9-4 loss to Eastern Phantoms on Friday. The Phantoms took the lead on a single from Ky M in the first. The Warriors tallied four runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by was led by Ethan M, Paul F, and Jett M with RBIs. The Phantoms scored four runs in the sixth inning with RBIs from Austin T, Isaac R, and Marcus W. Marcus toed the rubber for the Phantoms. The righthander allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking zero. Aden L led things off on the hill for Southern Hills. The righthander lasted one and one-third innings, allowing three hits and four runs. Harry D, Ryota S, and Ethan each contributed in relief. Zach T led LL - Southern Hills with two hits in three at bats. The Warriors didn't commit a single error in the field as Kyron S had seven chances for the most on the team. Zai G went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Phantoms in hits. The team didn't commit a single error as Tex P made the most plays with eight. Carine Cats 9 - Southern Titans 13 Carine Cats lost the lead late in a 13-9 defeat to Southern Titans on Friday. The game was tied at six with the Titans batting in the top of the fourth when Leonard G tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. Carine lost despite out-hitting the Titans eight to seven. The Cats tied things up at six in the bottom of the third when Jackson H singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. The Titans pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. Jordan M drew a walk, scoring one run and Ashton C's wild pitch allowed another run to score. Josh B toed the rubber for the Titans. Josh lasted one and one-third innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out two. Sullivan W started the game for Carine. The pitcher lasted one and one-third innings, allowing one hit and three runs while striking out one and walking zero. Ashton, Campbell B, Wyatt A, and Kaelan L each entered the game as relief, throwing one and two-thirds innings, one inning, one inning, and one inning respectively. Jake C led Carine with two hits in three at bats. Leonard went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Titans in hits. Little League Division 2 Central Firebirds 8 - Sun City Thunder 11 Central Firebirds fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-8 loss to Sun City Thunder on Friday. Sun City scored on a walk by Michael W in the first, and singles by Samuel C and Michael in the second. Both sides had five hits on the day. The Firebirds notched three runs in the sixth. Lucas C and Oliver C powered the big inning with RBIs. Sun City scored four runs in the third thanks to walks by Summer C and Michael. Summer toed the rubber for Sun City, throwing two and a third innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out three. Alexander C was on the hill for Central. Alexander went one and one-third innings, allowing three runs on zero hits and striking out three. Lucas went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Firebirds in hits. They didn't commit a single error as Chayce H had the most chances with seven. Samuel led Sun City with three hits in three at bats. Southern Hills Warriors 14 - Sun City Thunder 26 Sun City Thunder bested Southern Hills Warriors in a high-scoring affair, 26-14. The Warriors opened up scoring in the first inning when Emma R grounded out, scoring one run. After a back-and-forth battle, they evened things up at six in the bottom of the second when Lachlan V drew a walk, scoring one run. Sun City took the lead for good with ten runs in the third inning. Summer C and Samuel C drew walks to score runs while Owen M reached on a dropped third strike and Michael W singled on a 3-2 count to score three. Ashton C tripled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run, Summer singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Samuel singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. The Warriors tallied nine runs in the second inning with RBIs from Brian F, Dylan D, Ryder W, Corey C, and Noah M. Sun City scored ten runs in the fourth inning, driven in by Summer, Owen, Sean M, Lachlan C, Michael, and Lincoln K. Alistair W was on the pitcher's mound for Sun City, with one hit and six runs over one and two-thirds innings, plus three strikeouts. Lachlan toed the rubber for the Warriors. The lefthander allowed zero hits and one run over one-third of an inning, striking out one. Millar B, Kian W, Jaxxon S, and Aidan G each entered the game as relief, throwing one and two-thirds innings, one and one-third innings, one-third of an inning, and one-third of an inning respectively. The Warriors totaled eight hits in the game. Corey went 3-for-3 and Ryder had two hits. Sun City racked up 13 hits in the game. Ashton led with four hits in four at bats and three of the team's 11 stolen bases. Summer, Samuel, and Michael all managed multiple hits too. Wanneroo Giants 20 - Southern Hills 4 Southern Hills Warriors couldn't keep up with Wanneroo Giants and fell 20-4 on Friday. Declan M was on the hill for Wanneroo Giants. The righthander lasted one inning, allowing one hit and one run while striking out four and walking one. Emma R started the game for the Warriors, throwing one-third of an inning, allowing seven runs on one hit and striking out two. Sebastian O, Brian F, Corey C, and Noah M each entered the game as relief. Noah and Ryder W each collected one hit to lead the Warriors. Wanneroo totaled eight hits in the game with multiple from Mason E and Chayce B. The Giants didn't make any errors as Oliver B had the most chances in the field with seven.
