Rockingham 4 v South Perth 1 Rockingham Rams defeated South Perth Cubs on Wednesday night at Baseball Park, with the Rams getting on the board in the second inning on a wild pitch. South Perth knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the second inning on Patrick Temby's sac fly, but the Rams pulled away for good with an RBI single from Rui Harrison in the fourth. Samuel Sheppard took the win for Rockingham. The ace lasted four innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out three. Zachary Gomersall threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. John took the loss for South Perth. The hurler went four innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out four and walking one. Jaxon Limpus and Adam Barbarich each collected one for the Cubs as Temby had the most chances in the field with 12. Rockingham saw the ball well, racking up eight hits in the game. Thomas Flynn and Tomas Swinson each managed multiple hits while Jake Sheppard had the most chances in the field with six. This marked the Rams' fifth win as they play away at the Braves on Sunday.
