Baseball WA Seeks Head Coach for Junior Girls State Team

Baseball WA is accepting applications for the Under 16 WA girls team that will be taking part in the Junior League State Championships at Easter.

Please provide your expression of interest by outlining your baseball experience and confirm or address your understanding of the following expectations:

• Execution of all State Team training programs for all athletes
• In consultation with the assistant coaches, co-ordinate training and pre / post game preparations.
• Liaise with the Program Administrator regarding all program planning aspects.
• Co-ordinate coaching / support team. Monitor / evaluate game, individual player, team, coaching staff outcomes.
• Responsible for disciplinary action for on field misconduct of coaching staff and players and report serious matters to Baseball WA.
• Compliance with all Codes of Conduct.
• Enforce the Baseball Australia and Baseball WA Player Code of Conduct and adhere to the Baseball Australia Coaches / Managers Code of Conduct.
• Present yourself and the team in a professional and positive image at all times.

Selection Process

• All applications will be reviewed by Baseball WA's CEO, Participation Programs Manager and Program Administrator, and then appointments will be made. 
• Head Coach Appointments announced to WA members.
• A post-tournament review of Head Coaches will be conducted.

In addition

• Applications for Assistant Coaches and Support Staff may be called for once Head Coaches have been appointed.
• BWA will review applications and appoint with additional input from the appointed Head Coach.
• Assistant Coach Appointments will then be announced to WA members.
• All teams shall be selected following a designated selection protocol established by BWA.

Applications are to be sent to BWA at admin@baseballwa.asn.au by Friday,  6 March 2020.

The team will be selected following the round of Pony Girls League games played on March 15th.
