Interested umpires are encouraged to sign up for an upcoming Community Umpiring Accreditation Workshop in Rockingham, Morley, or Subiaco.
This workshop will introduce umpires to the responsibilities, skills and rules of baseball umpiring. Instruction will be by accredited WABUA Instructors to the standards required by Baseball Australia. The one-day workshop will include practical instruction during which participants will be introduced to umpiring techniques. Participants will be then invited to then complete an online assessment before attaining Community Umpiring Accreditation. This accreditation is the minimum level of training umpires must have to officiate at all junior games. Upon completion of the course, participants will be registered with BWA as having attained the Community Umpiring Accreditation and awarded a “Green Shirt” package. Each one-day workshop will commence at 9am and conclude by 1pm:
Workshops are free to attend - register HERE. Comments are closed.
