The 2021 Australian Intermediate League Championship will be held in Mildura next May.
Baseball Australia has announced the event, which is proudly supported by the Victorian Government, will return to Mildura for a second time from 25 - 29 May 2021 after being cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Old Aerodrome Sporting Complex will again host the five-day tournament with the 29 May final set to crown a national champion and decide Australia Region’s representative at the 2021 Little League Intermediate (50/70) Baseball World Series in the US. Intermediate League provides players aged 11-13 the chance to transition from Little League to Junior League. It launched in Australia in 2018 with Lismore hosting the inaugural event before it shifted to Mildura. The winner of the 2021 championship will represent Australia Region at the Little League Intermediate (50/70) Baseball World Series, tentatively scheduled for 1-8 August next year in Livermore, California. Western Australia’s Perth Northern Metros won both the 2018 and 2019 Australian Intermediate League Championships. Click HERE for the full release from Baseball Australia. Comments are closed.
