Baseball WA and Tee-Ball Association of WA are pleased to introduce the new Pony Girls Tee-Ball program, designed to increase participation and expand the player development pathway by providing female athletes with their own competition at the tee-ball level.
Pony Girls Tee-Ball will run through the summer season from October to March with Wednesday night games and a 4-5 day tournament during January school holidays. “We are excited to launch Pony Girls Tee-Ball in partnership with TBAWA and look forward to an awesome summer on the field,” BWA Participation Manager David Hayes said. “We hope to encourage female athletes to continue playing diamond sports by linking the tee-ball program with the Pony Girls Futures and League programs.” Pony Girls Tee-Ball is open to youth girls no older than 11 as at TBAWA age cutoff date (i.e. Under 12). Clubs can nominate one or more teams and players can come from existing “Saturday morning” teams or play PGT exclusively. Any interested clubs are encouraged to nominate HERE. Comments are closed.
