Baseball WA is saddened to hear of the passing of Jacinda Barclay.
A standout Australian sportswoman, Jacinda grew up playing junior baseball in WA and made her state debut for Western Australia at the age of 15 at the 2006 National Championships. She went on to play for the Australian Emeralds in five Women's Baseball World Cups, winning a silver medal at the 2010 World Cup in Venezuela. She also played professional football for the Chicago Bliss in the Legends Football League and Greater Western Sydney in the AFL Women's competition.
