As announced in November 2019, Baseball WA will be sending a team on the pathway of the Bronco World Series to the Bronco Asia Pacific tournament.
This is a pathway for athletes league aged 10, 11 and 12 years old who are not in a team participating in the Little League National Championships. This team will be selected out of the Little League State Championship from the teams that do not achieve qualification for the nationals, including Tiger Academy.
LEAGUE AGE - age as at 31 August 2020
This is an opportunity for players that are may not otherwise get to experience a charter-like tournament event.
Our team will play in the Asia Pacific tournament to take place in China* from June 15 to 19 with the team leaving 3-4 days early to play scratch matches in China and experience local tourist opportunities.
Should the team win the tournament it will progress to the World Series in Laredo, Texas from July 31 to August 3.
The trip is self-funded and expected cost around $3,500 pp.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE - tournament organisers are monitoring the situation and will provide updates which will be uploaded here for you to view. The tournament may be moved re location and/or time. If cancelled BWA will look for alternate tournaments for our team to compete in. 16/3/20 update: Bronco tournament has been relocated to Jakarta, Indonesia. 3/4/20 - Pony have announced that the 2020 tournament has been cancelled. We will revisit in 2021.
