Wanneroo won the 2021 Senior Baseball Club Championship Grand Final on Wednesday night.

A five-run seventh inning led Wanneroo Giants to an 8-1 victory over the Braves to finish off an undefeated tournament. Andrew Walsh, Travis Erdmann, Brendan Lee, and Mitchell Belton all drove in runs in the frame. Aaron Home grounded out into a double play but still was able to knock in one run for Wanneroo in the first. The Braves tied things up at one in the top of the third inning on Michael Ewart's sac fly. Wanneroo pulled away for good with two runs in the fifth inning when Walsh doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Home doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run as well. The Giants put up five runs in the seventh inning with RBIs from Walsh, Erdmann, Lee, and Belton. Tama Pihama was the winning pitcher for Wanneroo, lasting four innings, allowing two hits, and zero runs while striking out five and walking zero. Yuuki Ishikawa took the loss for the Braves after giving up five runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out two and walking zero. Simon Eissens started the game for Wanneroo. The righthander went four innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out three and walking zero. The Giants racked up ten hits including three apiece for Home and Walsh.
