In the secondary school competition on Wednesday, 18 November, Darling Range, Willetton Senior High School, Sacred Heart and Atlantis Beach Baptist will hit the field at Baseball Park in Thornlie, introducing students to the sport if they haven’t played already and showcasing how fun and inclusive baseball can be. The next week on Thursday, 26 November, it will the primary schools’ turn with Harmony, Alinjara, St Mark’s Anglican and South Padbury signed up and ready to go. Each team will play three games to determine the standings for the final fourth game, with the first pitch on both days at 9:30 AM. “It’s great to have several schools taking part in this exciting new competition,” said David Hayes, Baseball WA Participation Program Manager. “We look forward to a successful event and hopefully getting more schools and students involved in the future."
