Tom Bailey induced a fly out from Cas Silber to finish off the game. Wanneroo secured the victory thanks to six runs in the first inning. Byron Armstrong, Troy Bullingham, Courtney Jones, Dawson Summers, Jacob Santich, and Daniel Bourke all moved runners across the plate with RBIs. The Giants opened up scoring in the first inning, when an error scored one run. A single by Olal Carter in the fourth inning was a bright spot for Carine. Jordan Matos took the win for Wanneroo. The pitcher went five innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out five and walking one. Bailey threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Simon Fisch took the loss for Carine. The hurler allowed three hits and six runs over one inning. Wanneroo racked up nine hits on the day. Ben King, Summers, and Armstrong had two hits apiece. Sam Kempton led Carine with two hits in four at bats. Morley 2, Gosnells 1 Morley Eagles snatched the lead late in the game in a 2-1 victory over Gosnells Hawks on Sunday. The game was tied at one with Morley batting in the bottom of the sixth when Luke Hughes doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run. The pitching was strong on both sides. Morley pitchers struck out 11, while Gosnells pitchers sat down four. Morley fired up the offense in the first inning. Cody Holt singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run. Gosnells evened things up at one in the top of the fifth inning when Lee Wisby grounded out, scoring one run. Morley pulled away for good with one run in the sixth inning. Lochy Southee earned the win for the Eagles. The bulldog went four innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out five and walking zero. Adam Millson threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen, recording the last nine outs to earn the save. Jameson Kruger took the loss for Gosnells. The pitcher went five and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out three. Todd Murphy started the game for Morley. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on zero hits over two innings, striking out four and walking one. Hughes and Holt each collected one hit to lead Morley. The Eagles didn't commit a single error in the field as Matt Dixon had 12 chances, the most on the team. Louis Scaramella went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Gosnells in hits. Robin Adamson led the team with 12 chances. Perth 14, Rockingham 4 Perth won big over Rockingham Rams 14-4 on Sunday. Rockingham got things started in the first inning when Vinnie Tarantola grounded out, scoring one run. The Rams knotted the game up at two in the top of the second inning, when Joshua Diggins singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. Perth scored six runs in the fifth inning, thanks to doubles by Edgar Mundarain and Brayden Moyle and a home run by Ezzard Bryant. After Rockingham scored two runs in the top of the seventh, Perth answered with two of their own. Rockingham scored when Tarantola doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Perth responded when Jordano Vivona's sac fly scored one run. Devon Ramirez-Beaver got the win for Perth. Ramirez-Beaver allowed six hits and two runs over six innings, striking out six. Kaine Newham and Jake White entered the game from the bullpen and helped to close it out in relief. Brock Molloy took the loss for Rockingham. Molloy surrendered seven runs on five hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven. Perth hit one home run on the day. Bryant went for the long ball in the fifth inning. Perth collected 12 hits. Moyle had three hits in four at-bats while, Bryant, Mundarain, and Peter Reyes all had multiple hits, too. Thomas Flynn went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Rockingham in hits. Victoria Park Belmont 2, Braves 0 Both teams were strong on the hill on Sunday, but Victoria Park Belmont was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Braves on Sunday. Matt Kennelly started the game for Braves and recorded 15 outs. A single by Jordan Dyer in the third inning was a positive for Braves. Matthew Martin got the win for Vic Park, throwing seven innings, allowing four hits, and zero runs while striking out six. Riley Marsh threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Marsh recorded the last six outs to earn the save for the Reds. Cameron Lamb took the loss for Braves. Lamb went two-thirds of an inning, allowing two runs on one hit. Kennelly started the game for Braves. The pitcher went five innings, allowing zero runs on five hits, striking out four and walking one. Matt Kennelly, Jack Rigden, Kevin Clark, and Dyer each collected one hit to lead Braves. Chris Dawson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Reds in hits as they didn't commit a single error in the field. Jack Smalpage had the most chances with 12. Swan Districts 14, Wembley 0 Swan Districts Swans defeated Wembley Magpies 14-0 on Sunday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Dillian Clarkson struck out Michael Albertini to finish off the game. Swan Districts secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the third inning. The offense came from walks by Brody Clarkson and Michael De Gasperis and singles by Dan Carter and Ashton Hamilton. Swan Districts got things moving in the second inning, when De Gasperis doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run. The Swans tallied eight runs in the third inning. Carter, Brown, Clarkson, De Gasperis, and Hamilton all drove in runs in the frame. One bright spot for Wembley was a single by Jacob Davila in the first inning. Marshall Shill earned the win for Swan Districts. The ace lasted five innings, allowing four hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking one. Clarkson threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Chris Crawford took the loss for Wembley. The pitcher went two and a third innings, allowing nine runs on six hits. Swan Districts scattered 13 hits in the game. Hamilton, Anthony Daniele, Demias Jimerson, Daniel Johnston, and Clarkson had two hits each. The Swans were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
