Braves 2, Gosnells 0 Both teams were strong on the hill on Wednesday, but Braves was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Gosnells Hawks on Wednesday. Liam Baron started the game for Gosnells and recorded 19 outs. A single by Liam Collins in the first inning was a positive for Gosnells. Tucker Smith was the winning pitcher for Braves. The bulldog went three and a third innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out six and walking zero. Baron took the loss for the Hawks, giving up two runs on six hits over six and a third innings, striking out four and walking one. Flynn McGahan started the game for Braves. The righty lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking one. Jamie White, Collins, and Robin Adamson each managed one hit to lead Gosnells. Braves scattered seven hits in the game, including multiple for Smith and Jack Rigden. The winning side didn't commit a single error in the field as Kevin Clark had 11 chances, the most on the team. Wanneroo 12, Vic Park Belmont 0 It was a tough day on Sunday for Victoria Park Belmont Reds, who lost 12-0 to Wanneroo Giants. A single by Joshua Greenham in the fourth inning was a positive for the Reds. Tom Bailey earned the win for Wanneroo. The righthander surrendered zero runs on three hits over five innings, striking out two and walking one. Jordan Matos and Frazer Brice entered the game out of the bullpen to pitch in relief. Matthew Martin took the loss for Vic Park. The hurler lasted four innings, allowing eight hits and seven runs while striking out two and walking one. Greenham, Cole Jenkins, and Ryan Boyer each collected one hit to lead the Reds. Wanneroo tallied 16 hits in the game. Nicholas Riley, Courtney Jones, Ethan Cooper, Troy Bullingham, and Nick Irwin each managed multiple hits for the Giants. Riley went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead the way. The Giants were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Irwin made the most plays with seven. Gosnells 11, South Perth 1 South Perth Souths struggled to get their offense going on Sunday, getting easily dispatched by Gosnells Hawks, 11-1. South Perth got things started in the second inning as Haden Keller hit a solo homer. Gosnells pulled away for good with three runs in the fifth inning. Jamie White singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run and Joseph Scaramella homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. The Hawks scored four runs in the eighth inning with RBIs from Eli Von Garsen, Jarrod McKay, and Sam Forrest. Liam Baron got the win for Gosnells. The southpaw went three innings, allowing zero runs on four hits, striking out two and walking zero. Jack Burt and Jameson Kruger entered the game out of the bullpen to close things down in relief. Lucas John took the loss for South Perth. The pitcher allowed four hits and four runs over two innings, striking out one. Patrick Frezza started the game for Gosnells, giving up one run on two hits over three innings, walking one. Caleb Goodwin started the game for South Perth, throwing four innings, allowing zero runs on two hits and striking out six. The Souths hit one home run on the day with Keller sending one over the fence in the second. Adam Barbarich, Luke Mann, Noah Green, Jai Hewitt, Keller, Kent Fitzgibbons, and Goodwin each collected one hit to lead South Perth. Gosnells totaled 12 hits in the game. Von Garsen, McKay, White, and Scaramella all managed multiple hits for the Hawks. Gosnells didn't commit a single error in the field as Scaramella had the most chances with seven. Morley 5, Perth 3 Morley Eagles won their contest against Perth on Sunday, 5-3. Morley pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. Josh Silvi singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. Kodai Hamaya earned the win for Morley. The hurler surrendered two runs on two hits over five and a third innings, striking out eight. Lochy Southee threw three and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Southee recorded the last 11 outs to earn the save for Morley. Jake White took the loss for Perth. The pitcher lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out five. Morley racked up ten hits. Aaron Bonomi, Silvi, and Brandon Migro had two hits apiece. Devon Ramirez-Beaver led Perth with two hits in four at-bats. Wembley 6, Carine 3 Wembley Magpies snagged a late lead and defeated Carine Cats 6-3 on Sunday. Wembley trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Matic Lesnjak tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs. The Magpies fired up the offense in the first inning with Nick Alexiou's RBI double. Carine knotted the game up at one in the top of the third inning. Cooper McDonnell drew a walk, scoring one run. Lukas Bickel was the winning pitcher for Wembley, allowing one hit and zero runs over one and one-third innings, walking zero. Alexiou threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Cas Silber took the loss for Carine. The bulldog lasted one-third of an inning, allowing two hits and one run while striking out one and walking one. Tarrant Reimers started the game for the Cats, lasting six and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out five and walking one. Henry Kellen started the game for Wembley. The ace went five and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on eight hits and striking out five. Wembley collected nine hits on the day. Alexiou, Riley Spring, and Lesnjak had two hits apiece. Carine saw the ball well, racking up ten hits in the game. Silber went 3-for-4 and Joel Hughes had multiple hits, too. The Cats were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error as McDonnell made the most plays with seven. Braves 1, Swan Districts 0 Braves defeated Swan Districts Swans 1-0 on Sunday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Tucker Smith induced a fly out from Maverick Hamilton to finish off the game. The pitching was strong on both sides. Braves pitchers struck out 15, while Swan Districts pitchers sat down seven. One bright spot for the Swans was a single by Ashton Hamilton in the first inning. Matt Kennelly was the winning pitcher for Braves. Kennelly lasted seven innings, allowing five hits and zero runs while striking out ten and walking one. Smith threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Marshall Shill took the loss for Swan Districts. The pitcher surrendered one run on three hits over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one. Kennelly, Cody Parkinson, and Joel Beches each managed one hit to lead Braves as the side didn't commit a single error in the field. Kevin Clark had the most chances with 11.
