Morley 32, Wembley 1 Wembley Magpies fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 32-1 loss to Morley Eagles on Saturday. Morley scored on a double by Luke Hughes, a stolen base by Zac McMillin, a double by Lochy Southee, and an error in the first inning. Morley scored 20 runs in the fourth inning with RBIs from Josh Silvi, Southee, Aaron Bonomi, Cody Holt, Adam Millson, and Southee. Millson toed the rubber for Morley. The fireballer lasted four innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out three and walking zero. Joris Van Ballegooy started the game for Wembley. The bulldog lasted three and a third innings, allowing ten hits and 17 runs. Michael Albertini and Riley Spring entered the game as relief, throwing one and one-third innings and one-third of an inning respectively. Morley smashed five home runs on the day. Kieran Chapman went for the long ball in the fifth inning. Millson had a dinger in the second and fourth innings, while Hughes put one out in the third and fourth innings. Wembley tallied five hits on the day as Nick Alexiou and Albertini had two hits apiece. Morley tallied 19 hits in the game. Southee, Hughes, Chapman, Mitchell Schofield, Millson, Holt, and Silvi all had multiple hits. Gosnells 4, Carine 1 Carine Cats fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 4-1 loss to Gosnells Hawks on Saturday. Gosnells took the lead in the first inning when Louis Scaramella singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Liam Baron was credited with the victory for Gosnells. Baron surrendered zero runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one. Jameson Kruger threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen, recording the last six outs to earn the save. Tarrant Reimers took the loss for Carine. The pitcher allowed six hits and two runs over six innings, striking out five and walking one. Carine saw the ball well today, racking up six hits in the game. Cooper McDonnell and Olal Carter had two hits apiece. Gosnells racked up eight hits. Robin Adamson and Jamie White had multiple hits as Adamson went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead the team. Wanneroo 9, South Perth 0 Wanneroo Giants defeated South Perth Souths 9-0 on Sunday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Yuichi Shiota induced a fly out from Luke Mann to finish off the game. Wanneroo secured the victory thanks to five runs in the sixth inning. Wanneroo's big inning was driven by a walk by Daniel Bourke, a triple by Courtney Jones, and an error on a ball put in play by Ethan Cooper. Wanneroo opened up scoring in the first inning, when Nick Irwin grounded out, scoring one run. The Giants scored five runs in the sixth inning. The rally was led by a walk by Bourke, a triple by Jones, and an error on a ball put in play by Cooper. A single by Haden Keller in the first inning was a positive for South Perth Souths. Jay Bullingham pitched Wanneroo to victory. He allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out six and walking zero. Shiota threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Lucas John took the loss for South Perth. The hurler allowed seven hits and four runs over four innings, striking out three. Wanneroo racked up nine hits in the game. Ben King, Bourke, and Byron Armstrong had two hits apiece. Wanneroo 11, South Perth 1 Wanneroo Giants easily dispatched South Perth Souths 11-1 on Sunday night. The Giants got things started in the first inning when Byron Armstrong homered on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs. Wanneroo notched three runs in the eighth inning, thanks to a walk by Nick Irwin and a fielder's choice by Christopher King. Jordan Matos earned the win for Wanneroo. The righty lasted six innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out eight. Callum Schipp threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Cameron Ballantine took the loss for South Perth. The bulldog lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and seven runs. Wanneroo tallied one home run on the day. Armstrong had a four bagger in the first inning. The Giants saw the ball well, racking up ten hits in the game, including two apiece for Daniel Stephenson and Jacob Santich. Jaxon Limpus led South Perth with three hits in three at bats. Perth 8, Swan Districts 1 Swan Districts Swans fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-1 loss to Perth on Sunday. Perth scored on a single by Brayden Moyle, a single by Devon Ramirez-Beaver, and a groundout by Brady Oliphant in the second inning. The Swans struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Perth, giving up eight runs. Perth added three runs in the fourth inning. The offense was led by Peter Reyes, Oliphant, and Ronnie Sweeny, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs. Kaine Newham earned the win for Perth. The righty allowed zero hits and one run over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one. Jake White and Ramirez-Beaver entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close it out in relief. Dillian Clarkson took the loss for Swan Districts. The bulldog lasted four innings, allowing eight hits and six runs while striking out one and walking zero. Reyes started the game for Perth. Reyes surrendered zero runs on two hits over four innings, striking out six. Brody Clarkson, Daniel Johnston, Demias Jimerson, Dan Carter, and Ashton Hamilton each managed one hit to lead Swan Districts. Perth had 15 hits in the game, including multiple for Oliphant, Jordano Vivona, Reyes, and Sweeny. Braves 13, Rockingham 2 Rockingham Rams struggled to get their offense going on Sunday, falling to the Braves, 13-2. Braves scored five runs in the fifth inning with RBIs from Kevin Clark, Cody Parkinson, Daniel Choi, and Jack Rigden. Tucker Smith was the winning pitcher for Braves. The hurler allowed one hit and one run over six innings, striking out nine and walking zero. Flynn McGahan and Cameron Lamb entered the game out of the bullpen. Vinnie Tarantola took the loss for Rockingham. The southpaw went five innings, allowing seven runs on ten hits and striking out two. Braves hit two home runs on the day. Clark had a four bagger in the ninth inning and Jordan Dyer went deep in the seventh. Donnie Stone, Dion Davey, and David Nichols had one hit each for Rockingham. Braves saw the ball well today, racking up 16 hits in the game. Smith, Elliott Curtis, Parkinson, and Clark each managed multiple hits as Smith led the way with four hits in five at bats.
