Giants added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when a wild pitch scored one run, and Ben King singled, scoring two runs. Jay Bullingham earned the win for Wanneroo. The right-handed pitcher allowed five hits and two runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking three. Josh Paull took the loss for Vic Park. He threw two innings, giving up five runs on six hits, striking out two and walking two. Rob Sorensen threw two and one-third innings of no-run ball for Wanneroo in relief. The right-handed pitcher gave up three hits, striking out one and walking one. Wanneroo accumulated 11 hits in the game. Byron Armstrong went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Giants in hits. It was tied at two in the top of the eighth when Byron Armstrong singled, scoring one run. Both teams were strong on the hill. Wanneroo pitchers struck out 10 while Vic Park sat down eight. Wanneroo opened the scoring in the top of the second thanks to two singles. Daniel Stephenson had an RBI base hit to make it 1-0. Cody Van Der Graaf singled, helping Reds tie the game at two in the bottom of the third. Tom Bailey opened the game for Wanneroo. The right-handed pitcher allowed 12 hits and two runs over eight innings, striking out eight and walking two. Mizuki Akatsuka started on the mound for Vic Park. He surrendered six hits and three runs (one earned) over nine innings, striking out eight and walking none. Frazer Brice pitched one inning of zero-run ball for Wanneroo in relief. Mathew Martin started the game for Vic Park and recorded 27 outs. Reds were first on the board in the opening frame when Cody Van Der Graaf was struck by a pitch, driving in a run. Nicholas Riley homered to left field on the sixth pitch of the at-bat, helping Wanneroo tie the game at one in the bottom of the first. Reds broke up the tie in the top of the fifth when Eddie Satisky doubled, scoring one run. A sacrifice fly by Sean Garratt followed to extend the lead to 3-1. Vic Park starter Martin gave up five hits and two runs over nine innings, striking out seven and walking three. Jacob Myer started on the bump for Wanneroo. He allowed three hits and three runs over five innings, striking out four and walking five. Satisky went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Reds in hits. Garratt, Satisky, and Van Der Graaf each drove in one run while the defense turned one double play. Ben King went 2-for-3 to lead Wanneroo in hits while also stealing two bases.
