As everyone is aware, the Western Australian State Government has introduced a five-day lockdown until Friday, 5 February 2021. Baseball has an important role in supporting physical activity and community connectiveness while also ensuring the safety and wellbeing of its clubs, volunteers, members and staff.
We will keep you as up to date as much as possible with the latest information but as we saw in the first round of restrictions in early/mid 2020, we need to accept the speed at which external decisions are made, the time available to consider the implications and then develop appropriate communications. Please click HERE for details on the Stay at Home and Closure (Perth, Peel and the South West Regions) Directions. We know you and your members/participants will have many questions and it's important the answers are based on the right information. All general information should be sourced from www.wa.gov.au and all enquiries to our sport and recreation service area should be directed to sportinfo@dlgsc.wa.gov.au. This inbox will be monitored regularly and responded to as quickly as possible. At this stage there is no other information on what restrictions will be in place from 6pm on Friday. We will let you know as soon as we know more. Comments are closed.
