Baseball WA is pleased to announce Wanneroo Giants Baseball Club as the host of the 2023 Think Again Little League State Championships.
The state tournament will return to Wanneroo for another year, running across Easter weekend from 6-10 April 2023. Little League Division 1, Division 2, Intermediate League, and Machine Pitch will all be held at Wanneroo, bringing over 100 players together for an amazing weekend of on-field fun. Wanneroo hosted the 2022 State Championships earlier this year, with 74 games played on five diamonds throughout the week. It was a special tournament for Wanneroo, as their Intermediate League team took out the title before winning nationals and booking a spot at the World Series in the U.S. “The Wanneroo Giants are excited to once again team with BWA in hosting the Little League State Baseball Championships,” Club President Greg Elliott said. “Although a massive task in itself, the reward of seeing so many players and families enjoying the sport we all love makes hosting the event thoroughly worth it.” “Thank you to Wanneroo for stepping up to the plate to host the 2023 Little League State Championships at Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex,” BWA Participation Manager David Hayes said. “We hope charter players enjoy the rest of the summer season leading up to the State Championships, and we can’t wait to see all our Little Leaguers out at Wanneroo this April.” Stay tuned for announcements on the Senior League and Junior League State Championships.
